Roundtable: Multilingual Literature in Conflict Zones III

Welcome to the third online roundtable in the series Multilingual Literature in Conflict Zones organized by the Journal of Literary Multilingualism (Natasha Lvovich, Editor in Chief) and the international research group LangueFlow (Sabira Stahlberg).

The roundtable will be held on Tuesday 25 February 2025 at

  • 9 AM EST (New York)
  • 15:00 CET (Berlin, Budapest)
  • 16:00 EET (Riga)

The roundtable will feature two discussants:

  • Yousra Hamiham, Université Libre de Bruxelles: Language in Movement : Exile, Displacement, and Dialects in Yousif Qasmiyeh’s Writing the Camp
  • Maija Burima, Daugavpils University: Text Group Orbita and its Multimodal/ Multilingual Strategies

The discussants will briefly introduce their respective topics and engage the audience in an interdisciplinary discussion.
