About

The international LangueFlow research team explores since 2021 literary multilingual strategies and how multilingualism is expressed in literature, from covert, hidden and latent forms through several degrees to visible and overt manifestations.

LangueFlow works with creativity, multimodality and multimediality, and combinations between polyglot literature and theatre, music and arts in historical and present time. Multilingualism is much more than bilingualism, plurilingualism or translingualism; our focus is on multiple languages in multilayered literature and arts.

LangueFlow organises events, including regular Multea roundtables, seminars, colloquiums and conferences, publishes articles and books, prepares teaching materials, and issues the academic literary multilingualism blog LangueLetter.

This website is a forum for scholars researching multilingualism in various disciplines. The website also provides materials and topics for discussion for teachers and students. All materials on the LangueFlow website are free and Open Access.
